The TwinTrack™ head is built around a double raceway design that enhances the Cyclone’s performance. The engineering advantage comes from the way the two raceways work together. The top raceway is designed to absorb direct downward thrust, while the bottom raceway is engineered to absorb horizontal thrust. Together, these two raceways act like a tapered bearing, allowing more lateral movement and taking on harsher loads. That superior design is what helps ensure the Cyclone’s performance is unmatched in the industry.
The TwinTrack head features a 6” upper raceway with 3/4” diameter steel balls on top of a 3-13/16″ lower raceway with 1/2” diameter balls. It is a serious construction approach for serious applications, giving the Cyclone the strength, control, and durability required when ordinary heavy-duty casters are not enough.
The Cyclone Series is available in 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, 16”, and 18” diameters with tread widths of 4” and 5”. It is double-fillet welded and has a standard corrosion-resistant black finish. Other colours are available as special orders. The Cyclone is also available with a range of brakes, including the PolyCam and 4PSL brake. Options include spring-loaded and dual-wheel configurations.
