These casters are designed to swivel and move easily. The spherical shape allows the caster to sit on a single point, reducing friction and enabling motion. The wheel rides directly on the bushing instead of on bearings, providing excellent mobility at reasonable costs. Hardened steel load raceway bearings and self-lubricating acetal resin bushings increase longevity and make ball casters virtually maintenance-free.

While Polyolefin wheels are an option, Envirothane™ wheels are particularly useful because they are hard enough for carpeted floors and soft enough for tiled surfaces. In addition, the grey Envirothane creates a distinctive color combination.

Options/Component: Options include a side locking brake and a number of top plate choices. They come with grip ring, grip neck or threaded stems in a variety of sizes. The bright chrome finish is standard and a number of other finishes are available with qualifying orders.
