The head of our Tornado™ caster is robotically welded directly to the plate. That makes it virtually unbreakable because the only way to break the caster is to break the weld and the balls in the raceway. Delivering 1,500 lbs. of capacity, this is our most economical kingpinless caster and is ideal for high-impact, heavy-duty applications.

To increase capacity, Tornado casters can be ordered with a dual wheel configuration and they can also be produced in special overall heights. Both swivel and rigid casters are available.

The Tornado has been intelligently engineered with a screw plug in the raceway. This high precision part ensures the raceway’s smooth rotation without the need for welding or the possibility of applying too much or too little torque.

Options/Components: Brake choices include side locking, thumb screw, universal wheel and four position swivel lock. Available with round, threaded and metric stems and six bearing options. Double leg configuration is also available.

 Ideal Applications: Most demanding and abusive applications including platform trucks, tow lines and other industrial uses.
